“Snow in Florence” by L. Kostenko
Director: Yevhen Hudzik
Dear friends, we extend our warm invitation to the ethereal realm of the Garden of Eternal Sculptures, a masterpiece crafted by Lina Kostenko and reborn in March 2022 through the talents of artists hailing from Lviv, Kyiv, and Kharkiv. This theatrical gem marked one of the earliest stage productions amidst the tumultuous backdrop of the full-scale Russian invasion and continues to garner profound admiration from its audiences.
Within this enchanting Garden, the artist engages in a profound inner dialogue, contemplating the cost of creativity, the pursuit of freedom, and the escape from the clutches of war and tyranny. The central question lingers: If we depart from our Garden amidst the snowfall, will the enduring flame of creativity within us flicker and fade? “And who has betrayed whom – you, your talent, or your talent, you?” Join us in the exploration of this artistic quandary and the quest to either discover or create our own Garden of Eternal Sculptures.
Duration: 1 hour and 10 minutes.
